Finally able to go to the gym today.

exercise bike for 5 min @ 110 RPM (whatever that means)

3x10 dead lift 45 warm up (65,65,85)
bench press 45 warmup 10 at 75, 10 at 95 7 at 95
dips (10,6)

this is not much but im still getting over my illness.

Bench press: 2x8 at 120, 4 at 130, 6 at 125, 3 at 120lb
17 pushups
Deadlifts: 8 at 120, 8 at 170, 1 at 230lb

Good improvement, I think. Time to start running again.

Worked off the party with Abs as follows:

120 Crunches ( 40 for the front and each of the obliques)
1:15 Plancks for front and obliques (I'm an engineer, so it's Planck)
90 Crunches ( 30 each)
0:45 Plancks
60 Crunches (20 each)
0:15 Plancks

Up early on New Years, gonna do a 5 mile hike.

PS - My crotch is still sore from those damn hip abduction machines.

Party and bullshit

A great cardio/recovery routine for getting the kinks out.

I've already cracked a cider and I'm ready to put a few kinks back in, cuz I'm making this new year a challenge.

BLAH!

So i was sick for the past week and finally went to the doctors and they told me i have 2 ear infections and bronchitis(friken sucks). Haven't been able to workout even though i have gotten some sweet equipment for Christmas but should be able to start in a week or so. Always thinking about working hard.

Makin' me look bad

It's awesome to see everybody posting. I got real sick for a couple days and had to take a break, but tonight I knew I couldn't put it off any more. Gotta get huge.

So I benched 120lb for reps: 5, 6, 6, 5

Non weighted workout

played pickup for 2 hours
did sprint o ramas
played basketball with emphasis on jumpshots
80 pushups!

Planet Granite

Went to the rock gym.

Planned on climbing, but too lazy to pass the belaying exam, so i used their weight room instead.

Warmed up with 500m sprint on rowing machine - 1:43
12 x 45, 95, 115, 135 lbs - Squats
10 x 45, 115, 135, 135 lbs- Dead Lifts
3 x 12 - 125lb Lat Pulldowns
3 x 12 - 250lb Leg Press
Ab Circuit
4 x 10 100lbs Hip abductor and adducter machine
Finished off with 2000m on the rowing machine - 8:12.3

Tried some pullups after all that. It was sad. that's all i'll say about that.

Weather's nice. Might go up to the city and run the golden gate bridge. It's 68 and sunny.

Home Gym Workout

Werblin may be closed, but that didn't stop me from working out.

Squats
4 sets - 95lbs - 180lbs

Deadlifts
3 sets - 95lbs - 155lbs

Shrugs (works that muscle between your neck, shoulders and upper back)
2 sets (w/ grip strength holds at the end of each)

Biceps
3 different exercises - 2 sets each

Dumbbell press
3 sets - 45lbs - 65lbs (each dumbbell)

Skull crushers
3 sets - 55lbs - 75lbs

Military [dumbbell] press
3 sets - 25lbs (each dumbbell)

Finish with ridiculous ab workouts and DDR (for the calves and improve quickness)
